Bar 7 Beef is our registered business name. We are a ranch-direct beef business in the Quesnel area of British Columbia, Canada, operating the website at https://bar7beef.ca. This policy explains what information we collect through our website, how we use it, and the choices you have.

When you use our order form or quarter & half beef inquiry form, you may give us:

Service providers

Our order and inquiry forms, and some of our customer communications, are handled by GoHighLevel (also known as LeadConnector). When you submit a form, your information is sent to and stored by this service so we can manage orders and communicate with you. We do not sell your personal information.

Storage outside Canada

Our service providers may process or store information outside Canada, depending on their actual service arrangements. Information stored in another country may be subject to that country's laws.

Order messages and marketing messages

Order messages are emails, texts or calls needed to respond to your inquiry or fulfill your order, such as confirming details or arranging pickup. We send these as needed to complete your request.

Marketing messages, such as promotional emails or text messages about available beef, are optional. We only send them if you've separately agreed to receive them.

Withdrawing marketing consent

You can withdraw your consent to marketing messages at any time by using the unsubscribe link in an email, replying STOP to a text message where supported, or emailing privacy@bar7beef.ca. Withdrawing marketing consent doesn't stop the messages we need to send about an inquiry or order, through channels otherwise permitted.

Accessing or correcting your information

You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct it, by emailing privacy@bar7beef.ca. We may need to confirm your identity before responding.

Security and retention

We take reasonable steps to protect your information from loss, misuse and unauthorized access, and we limit access to people who need it to serve you. No method of sending or storing information online is completely secure.

We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes above or as required by law, and then delete it or make it anonymous.

Advertising measurement

With your advertising permission, we use Google Ads to measure advertising visits and support ad personalization. Google LLC may receive page-visit, ad-interaction, cookie, and standard device and browser information, and may process it in the United States or other countries. We do not send order-form details or customer-matching identifiers to Google through this website's tag. Successful inquiry conversion tracking has not been installed.

Optional advertising and analytics are off until you choose them, in every region. Accept All allows both; Reject Optional leaves both off; Manage Preferences lets you choose them separately. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time using Cookie settings at the bottom of any page. Opening settings does not change your choice until you save. Withdrawal stops future optional measurement; it cannot recall information already received by Google. You can also manage personalization through Google's Ads Settings and read Google's advertising policies.

Cookies and analytics

With your analytics permission, Google Analytics 4 measures page visits and standard device and browser details to help us understand website use. Google LLC receives this information and may process it outside Canada. Our website does not send names, email addresses, phone numbers, inquiry notes, or order-form values to Google Analytics. Analytics permission does not grant advertising permission.

Necessary browser storage remembers your privacy choices. The record includes a browser-specific visitor reference, your separate choices, when you made them, and the notice and its version explaining the data, purposes, and Google as recipient. Earlier acceptance evidence is retained when you later withdraw. This record is kept in your browser, not sent to Google; clearing browser storage removes it and you will be asked again. Other open tabs apply changed choices. If the browser cannot save the record, your choice applies only to the current visit.

Our embedded order and inquiry forms are loaded from GoHighLevel, which may use cookies or similar technologies needed to display and submit the forms. These forms remain available regardless of optional Google consent. Our website host may also keep standard technical logs, such as IP addresses and browser types, to operate and secure the site.
